Appointment Scheduling
Scheduling the appropriate amount of time with your Physician to treat your
specific medical problem is as important to us as to you. We also want to make sure we get your
insurance information correct to avoid billing errors for you. This requires fairly detailed telephone
communications between you and our triage staff, and we ask you to be tolerant of all the questions we ask you.
Our triage staff is available to take your calls at (615) 883-2331 from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through
Friday, and on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. You should be prepared to briefly but completely describe the
situation you want to be seen for.
For non-emergency appointments we ask you to have a
list of several different appointment days and times prepared that are acceptable
to you. We will try our best to accommodate your requested appointment time, but if your
Dr. has no appointments open
at your preferred time, you may also be seen in the walk-in clinic.
For a minor medical
emergency we will usually be able to get you scheduled the same day of your call. If your situation
warrants a same day visit and your Dr. can’t reasonably do it, you may also be seen in the walk-in clinic.
You
may at any time also decide to use
our Walk-in Clinic instead of waiting for an appointment.
Thank you for choosing Summit Primary Care for your medical care.
