Scheduling the appropriate amount of time with your Physician to treat your specific medical problem is as important to us as to you. For complicated issues, this usually requires a fairly detailed communication between you and our triage staff, and we ask you to call our Triage Department during business hours to schedule this type appointment.
For basic or routine appointments that are not an emergency, you may use our secure, web-based Patient Portal to request appointments and receive feedback by email without having to use the phone. Our triage staff is available to take your calls at (615) 883-2331 from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. You should be prepared to briefly but completely describe the situation you want to be seen for.
For most problems, we will usually be able to schedule you the same day of your call. If your Dr. can't get you in to meet your time needs, you may be scheduled with the NP or PA who your Physician works with. Your Physician will review your visit notes in those situations and be actively involved in a care plan even if they are unable to see you.
