Welcome to Summit Primary Care (SPC )

Our health care professionals are dedicated to providing your entire family, from infants to seniors, with the best primary medical care in a friendly, caring, professional environment.

We promote wellness through preventive medicine visits, screenings and annual check-ups. We also work very closely with the area specialists, home care and hospice agencies, nursing homes and hospitals to improve the health and lives of the people in our community.

SPC Services

We are conveniently located close to Summit Hospital, several Outpatient testing centers as well as any specialists you may need to see. Our entrance has a covered drive-through patient drop-off area to avoid having to walk through any inclement weather, automatically opening doors and we have wheelchairs available in the lobby for your use to accommodate patients who are unable to walk into the Clinic.

Our Electronic Medical Record System allows us to track each individual and monitor progress and medical information changes much better than other practices without these systems. It allows us to keep patients much better informed about recommended treatments, preventive actions needed and other health indications specific to their personal health situation such as immunizations needed, any potential drug interactions for patients on multiple medications and much more.

Also, for your convenience, we perform many procedures on-site so you do not have to make another trip elsewhere for basic testing. We have an on-site Laboratory, do our own EKG's, Pulmonary Function Testing, Hearing, Osteoporosis screening, VAP testing for Cholesterol management, Urine Drug Testing for pre-employment, basic cardiac ECHO testing, Cardio-Pulmonary Stress Testing, Limited X-ray testing, minor skin surgery, suture removal, and more.

Additionally, we also have an on-site Dispensary that allows you to get most prescriptions your SPC Provider writes for you filled without having to make an extra trip to the pharmacy. We are also capable of refilling most prescriptions. If you are an existing patient needing a refill, you may call our office for immediate assistance. SPC also has a Walk-In Clinic on the second floor to accommodate patients with minor medical problems who are unable to schedule an appointment. It is open from 7 AM to 7PM on Weekdays and from 8 AM to Noon on Saturdays. Our patients comment that it is very helpful for those that either can't get out of work or their Dr. is booked up during normal business hours.

Hospital Care

If you need hospitalization your SPC physician will normally admit you to Summit Medical Center. If you do elect Summit Medical Center, your SPC physician will personally oversee your admission and daily care and work closely with any specialist physicians called in to attend to you in the hospital. We are the only Family Practice Group in this area that admits and cares for our patients personally when they are admitted to Summit Hospital.

Appointment Hours

Most of the Doctors maintain appointment hours M-F from 7:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. and from 1:00 P.M. to 4:30 P.M., although each physician does have their own schedule.

Operators are available to take appointment and other calls from 7:15 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, and from 8 A.M. to NOON on Saturday.

Please note: We ask that you call during these hours to schedule an appointment. You cannot do it through this website or to an on-call Dr. or by voice-mail. This is because the information we need to schedule the proper amount of time for you with your Provider requires a question and answer session with our Triage Staff.

All incoming calls to Summit Primary Care are answered by a telephone auto-attendant. After hours, emergency calls can be directed to the on-call physician voice mail. After you leave your message it will automatically page the on-call Dr. They will call you back for any medical emergency to discuss the situation with you. Although at this time there is no charge for these consultations, your Dr. reserves the right to charge for this at their discretion.
