Infants to Seniors John S. Major, M.D.
Dr. Major did his Medical Internship and Medical Residency at the Mayo Clinic Family Medicine Residency Program in Des Moines, Iowa. He practiced Family Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Des Moines from 1998 until joining Summit Primary Care in July 2000. Dr. Major is board certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Major was raised in Lebanon, TN and currently resides with his wife, Angie and their son, Jackson in Mt. Juliet on Old Hickory Lake.

Dr. Major's practice focuses on Family Medicine, with special focus on Lipid/Obesity disorders and Diabetes. He sees patients of all ages from newborn through geriatrics.
